Hi everyone! Happy to meet you all here. My name is Ivan, and I'm a 20 yo student living in the historical cradle of Russia, in a pretty small town called Veliky Novgorod. Currently I'm a third-year student of Novgorod State University. The scope of my interests includes linguistic (especially the field of comparative studies), human anatomy and endocrinology (since I've been working in the sphere of medical translation for more than a year) and fine arts. People think that I'm kind of reserved person, so let it be. I've been learning English since I was 6, and, I suppose, that's what has helped me to develop my personality in different ways. For me every foreign language is a new prism through which I look at our world. I hope that our communication will bring each of us the fruits of multicultural experience.
Hi Ivan! Nice representation of yourself.
ReplyDeleteThank Ivan for your post. Lovely to meet you today. Can you post a photo?
ReplyDeleteHi Ivan! So, I'm just curious about a phrase you and several of your classmates have used in your posts: "let it be". Is that meant literally, like leave it alone? Or does it have a different meaning within the Russian language?
